In times of emergency, both local and national, many people step up to volunteer their time and resources to help the people around them. This volunteering can be anything from fetching supplies in a pandemic or power cut, to helping a local area prepare for a flood or storm.
The community response program on this platform enables you to register as a community responder, where you can be contacted in times of crisis with a call to respond.
We're looking for people who are willing to help (if they can) in times of emergencies.
We'll contact you with details about the help that is needed at the time. If you can help, great - if not, we'll contact you again in the event of any furture emergencies.
All community responders will be asked to complete a short traning document and we will be in touch annually to check that your details are still up to date.
